Time Heals Sorrows
6 September, 2003
Author: Del
I'm dreaming dreams that can't come true.
Why does my heart want only you?
There's somebody taking my place tonight.
She's in your arms, you're holding her tight.
You're kissing her eyes and stroking her hair.
Telling her sweetly how much you care.
Not long ago that someone was me.
Just like that you set me free.
Free for what? A life of sorrow,
Trying to face each new tomorrow.
I spend each night feeling oh, so blue,
All my dreams are still of you.
Time heals sorrow, so they say
So, maybe in time I'll be O.K.
