Killing Time
28 October, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Once I lived with shattered and broken dreams.
Where the shadows have swarmed and entwined me.
Entangled in my fears of discontentment.
When the storms have brought their uncaring lightning bolts.
Where misery follows the pain as sadness spreads.
Slowly my soul bleeds drop by drop.
My despair is endlessly pounding.
Now death is hanging by a black thread waiting to fall.
