Jackals

Shadows come consuming the night.
As the winter wind --- utterly raw chills me to the bone.
There is no escape as the demons surrounds me.
My despair comes piercing with its turbulence.
I can hear the screams from the fiery depths of hell.
Steadily inflicting pain from my sorrows.
Memories are all too vivid from the seasons gone by.
