A Love That Lasts
29 October, 2006
Author: Catyrose
I felt love today
It arrived at my door in strange packaging
Dressed in shades of pastel hue
Twinkling eyes
And an open smile
I bid love to come in and stay for awhile
We sat and talked
We shared a meal
Prattling on about the things that we held dear
Love reached out and held my hand
Comfort communicated in a gentle touch
Integrity and honesty
In love's eyes I did see
This kind of love is a rare find
Designed to endure the test of time
