In The Silence Of This Ride
3 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
The pages of my night betray me.
Thunderous whispers echo in the night.
The shadows wait in their death rattle.
Through the stain walls they leap.
Laconic images play in my mind.
Reflecting back through torturous broken promises.
Beaten and torn my heart is scattered.
Where are the rainbows that will help me fighting my fears?
Silence is the song I need to hear.
