In My Reflection
3 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
As I trespass the night.
Fighting my fears alone.
The darkness storms in.
I stumble and fall ---- hour by hour.
From obstacles blocking my way.
Infuriated and raging shadows reflect.
Rushing from their hidden disguise.
My mirror is shattered into the blackness.
Within the sadness that grips me.
Out in the wilderness the cold demons call.
Imprisoned in the destiny of silence.
Where are the waterfalls of peaceful rivers?
