Lets walk together side by side,
Down the long, rocky road of life.
There'll be many rocky roads to conquer,
Many hours of pain and strife.

Always stay here besides me
And give me your love each day.
Cheer me when I'm lonely,
Chase all those blues away.

I'll try so hard to please you,
As we stroll thru life together.
When the sun in the sky is shining,
Or during all our stormy weather.

We'll have many disagreements, I'm sure,
Sometimes a verbal fight,
Let's vow to end them when we retire,
With a long, loving kiss 'Goodnight.'

Let's be honest with each other,
So there's nothing left to hide.
Let's enjoy our lifetime together,
As we walk side by side.
