It Has A Hunger
8 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Indentured to the memory of agony.
Long vanished scars are wrought and still hammering.
As they walk the night alone.
The time slowly darts it's path ---- carving and devouring.
Through bitter labyrinths submerged in darkness.
Numb with rage ---- I cannot move.
I am frozen in the valley of despair.
Lamenting life's long pain in my journey.
Needing unmerciful years of yearning to vanish.
