My Dreamland
31 October, 2003
Author: Del
A big full moon is shining
Thru my window tonight,
As I lay here trying to sleep
Your face is always in sight.
It seems like you're watching over me,
An angel from heaven above,
Trying to reassure me
Of your kind and patient love.
I wish you were here besides me,
Real snug in my loving arms.
So I could prove how much I love you,
And you could show me all your charms.
When I finally fall asleep, my dear,
One thing I'd love to do
Is meet you in my dreamland,
So I can prove my love for you.
Dreams are like our tomorrows.
You'll never know what they'll bring.
If we're lucky to meet in my dreamland tonight,
It'll make this lonely heart sing.
