As If You Know

You smile at me as if you know
I turn to leave, you ask me not to go
You hold me in your arms so tight
I roll over to put out the light
When we wake, you don't have much to say
You put on your boots and begin your day
I stay behind to take care of home
You are the one who's never alone

Meridian (205.188.117.65) -- Friday, November 17 2006, 06:56 pm Hey WIllahh! This poem reminded me of a book I read. I forgot the title. I read so many. I can tell you the characters though...Chase Wilcox and Nicole Ballard... Chase did the same thing to Nicole in this book, because it was a bet between him and his brother. He and her got "romantic", did their thing, and shortly thereafter....he left just as quick as he came... That's enough to break someone's heart and heart's are fragile. Expressive writing. I'm just sorry that it has happened to you. Write on Willahh, write on! |
