Memories Of Old
14 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Walking through the years of despair.
Threading the floors of darkness.
Flashing back to those memories deep within my soul.
I remember so vividly my nightmares.
Echoing through the hollow bones of time.
The shadows on the wall dance to a silent song!
White blindness in a blizzard of snow!
My frozen soul has fallen on the midnight of winters.
Lying in my kingdom of no color.
The reaper scales my castle walls.
To carry my coffin to it's final resting-place.
Leaving behind only his footprints.
