Morning Glory
15 November, 2006
Author: Mere
You're like my morning glory
that wilts away with the light.
I am waiting for your re-bloom
in the morning dew,
Your dark innocence excites me.
I love you, but I don't
and your beautiful face
brightens my every day,
I feel you slipping,
fading into darkness
an unbearable heartache
You break me in two.
I don't have time
to wait on a miracle,
Each breath kills me
like every kiss revitalizes,
You're bleeding crimson purple.
What a beautiful accident
I have created,
but I await your return.
