Epitaph
15 November, 2006
Author: Mark Spencer
Do not gaze through eyes of gloom
Upon my dark and silent tomb.
Let thy heart not shed a tear,
For tabernacles buried here.
Do not seek me in the ground,
For who I am will not be found.
I’m not flesh and bone, you see;
What rests within was never me.
I have gone to my reward,
Into the presence of the Lord.
And here I shall wait for thee,
Where we can share eternity.
