Midnight's Black Death
16 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
I wake in the night from my nightmares.
As they come dragging back old memories.
Once again I can hear the macabre wail on the wind.
The demons come striking with their threats.
Quickly vivid illusions fill my sight.
Trying to escape there is no passageway out.
The shapeless shadow's stirs my fears.
Seizing me with its powerful grip.
Frozen in the tracks of time.
From the silence the reaper calls my name.
