Midnight's Cover

Author: Rick Ryckman
The storm rages and lightning bolts boomerang.
The freezing wind folds around me.
The pale phantoms have vanished into the blizzard.
The hunger of fear lunges from out of the shadows.
Running into the wilderness my destination unknown.
The torture will not relinquish in this lonely place.
Hells fire comes scorching my soul.
Exhausted from the struggles only despair reins supreme.
As the curtain of darkness draws it's closing.
