The Night Of The Beast
22 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Wrapped in the hollow mysteries of life.
The shadows come releasing their ruthlessness.
The demons are rapping upon my door.
In this torturous world there is no escape.
Why must despair rein supreme over love?
I can hear the phantom footsteps echoing.
My fears cannot cover their footprints.
What will be able to tame the beast within the night?
The reaper comes suffocating me with his embrace.
