Madness

Author: Rick Ryckman
As the miles stretch out all along the years.
There are too many rivers to cross.
Traveling through the lonely hours.
Swallowed into the storm of shadows.
Where dark secrets linger.
The phantoms come taunting my mind.
Trying to escape the never-ending maze.
Fighting the obstacles along the way.
Running in the quicksand of ultimate despair.
My lost soul is trapped within its fears.
Where are the wizards to carry my soul?
Dancing with the reapers shadows.
