The Ilustrator
23 November, 2006
Author: Dani
I have drawn a picture
Of a tree standing proud.
Surrounded by grass
And covered by a cloud.
It’s time to colour
My picture so influential.
But the problem I have
It's the wrong colour pencil.
I have dark green for the leaves,
And light for the grass.
Will use brown for the trunk,
And a beige for the path.
The bird will be pink,
The cloud will be white.
The sun will be yellow,
So vibrant and bright.
My blue is missing!
What will be the fate of my sky,
When it doesn’t know my problem,
Nor why I cry.
To paint the sky purple
Would be bad image indeed.
As blue is what I want
And blue is what I need.
