A warming memory,
Of you and me,
Running through a meadow,
On a cool summers day,
To leisure by a glistening river,
And picnic on the grassy shores.
Watch a wet bed of ripples,
Representing out ever lasting love,
And forever holding our secret.
The bright sun reflects,
Upon glistening beads of sweat,
Revealing an inner passion,
Filling the air with lust.
A sudden warm swelling,
Of love and emotion,
A distant shriek,
Of joy and laughter,
Filling the air,
With butterflies and rainbows.
Laying dazed on the bank,
Savoring every moment,
Gazing at the sky,
Without a glitch or a bump,
A wonderful feeling of freedom.
A breeze laps at the water,
Comforting the swelling tide,
Releasing all the built-up energy,
Relaxing and preserving,
An ever lasting beauty.
