Passing Dreams Of 82
25 November, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
A smile comes to my thoughts.
When I think of you after all this time.
Your image is so clear in my mind as if it were yesterday.
The first time ever I saw your face!
The first touch of your hand!
The first embrace and kiss!
The way you lay sleeping!
To be with you and try it all over again!
I would sell my very soul!
You said you were leaving because you loved me.
I did not understand.
With time I survived and grew strong
and a few hundred red gingham dresses have fallen to my floor.
It saddens me greatly that I must still feel this pain after all these years.
I cannot help wondering as I look around.
Will I ever love again?
