Love So Rare

Sweetheart, the love I share with you,
Is so rare, it seems unreal.
I just could never ever explain
Exactly the way I feel.
This love is so very different,
I'm never sad or blue.
I feel so happy every day
Whenever I think of you.
There's something my heart keeps telling me,
'Be careful, keep it cool,
You know this love is not for you,
Don't be a silly fool.'
'But I'm not hurting anyone,'
I talk back to my heart.
'We'll never be together,
We'll always be apart.'
We share our thoughts and feelings,
Each and every day.
I feel you're right besides me,
But you're very far away.
It will never be any different,
But I can't say that I care.
I'll enjoy it while it's here right now,
This very rare love we share
