Road Of Loneliness
2 December, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Born to a time of rain and sorrows.
My night comes spinning around in the wind.
Shadows surround me like wailing banshees.
Dark walls are permeating there suffocating closeness.
In the darkness I tremble from my fears.
Trying to escape upon the crossroards of sand.
There are only endless passageways in the maze.
Only my soul knows the loneliness that threatens.
There is no color in my solitude.
In despair there are only broken wings.
