A Flower Of Blue
2 December, 2006
Author: Bipedalguy
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do
to find you a flower of blue.
I’d give you the flower,
and my life, save an hour
To spend that last hour with you.

barb (67.58.203.211) -- Saturday, December 2 2006, 08:44 pm This is so nice and warm ,full of romance with few words. perfect. Most women love to the point statements with romance in them. |
Bipedalguy (4.156.129.2) -- Sunday, December 3 2006, 04:44 am Thanks for your kind comment. I've never written much about romance, but that's what I was trying to do this time. I'm told that I'm a hopeless romantic, and at my age I guess there's an element of truth in that, at least the "hopeless" part. L.O.L. I'm glad you liked it. |

MC (68.35.198.43) -- Tuesday, December 5 2006, 08:35 pm This was totally precious. Very sweet and romantic. Nothing hopeless about being romantic.....truly, romance makes hope spring eternal. Age is a number...you're only as old as you feel. Chronologically, I'm 48 (and a HALF!) In my heart I will always be 18. BTW, delphiniums are a true blue flower. They're just very delicate, and don't last for long! |
Bipedalguy (4.156.129.61) -- Tuesday, December 5 2006, 10:34 pm I'm glad you liked it. Thanks re Delphiniums. I guess "Hope, while "wish" is more realistic, is never really gone. At 64 I have all the basic disease groups covered, except I have yet to get a major auto immune disorder. Some say I have 8 lives because I handle my problems (very well?) My # is 39, and I say that "I know I don't look 39". That must stress the diplomatic skills of the listener. LOL Keep those great poems coming. |
