Remnants Of The Past
3 December, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
My sword in the twilight comes betraying me.
In the dark my soul begins to suffocate.
Demons are shifting from the shadows.
Trying to side step through the falling perils.
There are times my sorrows sleep in a glided cage.
Despair awakens them with its wrath.
Crushed beneath the falling avalanche.
The ravaged winds of time have taken its toll.
