Bouquet Of White Roses
8 December, 2006
Author: T'Lonna Robbins
Looking back when i lived with you
When i was brought into this world
And everything was new
You'd hold me close real tight
Give me a hug
And kiss me good-night
Then the day came when you were gone
Leaving me sad and alone
Knowing you and mom were completely wrong
Even though you weren't there
I knew in my heart of hearts
You have always cared
I never thought my life would change
On that Christmas night
When the telephone rang
I never got to say good-bye
When they paid their respects
I didnt know so i only cried
All i really know is
It never should have happened
Me alone and laying there
Under a bouquet of White Roses
