Resurrection
10 December, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
In my solitude darkness clings.
In the stillness of time!
Midnight comes rapping once again from the clock.
Where nightmares linger in the hourglass.
I can hear the echoes of my shadows.
Even in the blackest hours of night.
Behind forbidden walls I am bound to despair.
My fears refuse to disappear.
The demons come branding from the cold blizzard.
My soul is laid bare in the dark recesses.
Weeping unseen in my solitude.
