Roses At Midnight
10 December, 2006
Author: Rick Ryckman
Reminiscing in the stillness of the evening.
From out of the velvet mist her vision descends.
She comes to me with desires yet unfulfilled.
Her quest I vow to bestow.
Her fingertips are tracing circles around my tower.
Gently touching her chamber deep and warm.
Trembling on the brink of rapture.
I am mesmerized as I look into her eyes.
Open wide the doorway to your heart.
Let me see the inner reflection of your soul.
Into enchanted dreams I will ride.
Taking flight into eternity's threshold.
