It Was A Dark Night

it was a dark night
but it was alright
somewhere in the corner
of my mind was a glimmering candlight.
the moon was shimmering
on the pond
submurge my hand
and it was gone.
cold wind blowing
freezing out ahead
inside i'm knowing
my emotions have bled.
