Rejoice
17 December, 2006
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
How still the night with the moon so full
A light dusting of the first winter snow
The breeze gently blowing; crisp chill in the air
And the stars shine in patches overhead
Glittering colorful lights line the street
Reindeer and holiday creatures galore
Adding a magical glow to the season
A beauty found only this time of year
A feeling over comes the spirit
childlike happiness and glee
Humming carols.. breaking the silence
of a walk in winter jubilee
