Hold Back Heart
17 December, 2006

In that moment nothing came to pass
My mind said go and my legs stood fast
She walked to me with a smile
Made me feel a way i’ve never felt for awhile
My heart lifted as it neared death
But felt still so alive and taking breath
Flying high soaring low
Bleeding joyfully; but i don’t know
“Never again” i have said
Too many times can’t get through my head
Leave alive the heart
But don’t let a new Love start
I try to be dead to the world
My heart can not
