Rambles From A Hallow Heart
22 December, 2006
Author: SweetVenom
Reddish eyes straining the streets,
Could my future beloved have just walked away,
If I had missed her,it wouldn't be very gay,
On this festive season, with lots of love,on the breeze.
Wishing for my fruitless search to end,
I have ran out of all new trends,
With the knack of flirting long gone,
I don't know how I get close to the chosen one.
It is hard to live a lonely life,
Friends managing their own grief,
No one to attend to, No one to share with,
my crazy thoughts and aimless talks.
Certain things are morally wrong,
While some are ethically right,
But with 'legal' drawing a line between,
I'm lost fighting the dispute within my heart.
Could someone set right this rambling rhythm,
Pulling out this mixed emotions of multitudes,
This is the problem I have always been,
And thus the beauty is always never seen.
Days closing soon and nights never seeming to end,
Insomnia has been the present God had sent,
Trying to ratify my fickle personality,
I say 'This is what I'm, Take me or Leave me'.
