To He Who Started It All
24 December, 2006
Author: Clive B Ringshall
It started with a magical birth
A birth that challenge us all to think
A boy was born who’d change our world
To make this world a better place to live
Time passed by and slowly we saw
A faith then grew in the heart of man
This time of year wherever you are
We feel the crispness within the air
Hot or cold we wish for snow
A snow to cover the earth so clean
Trees now full and decorated well
A manger with Mary, Joseph and three kings
There gifts are laid to welcome him new
This time of year we remember him well
Not only with gifts but our hearts as well
Warm inside, I give to you all my friends here
A touch of piece that will nurture inside
Pass it fourth and see it grow
For you and I can change the world
So open your presents and smile wide
Please remember the reason we are excited inside
Give to that neigbour whose there all alone
Pass on your happiness by smiling wide
Take the time to say hello
Take the time for friends old and new
Happy birthday to he who started it all
