Go Saddam, to that Hellfire lake,
when therein, you’ll eternally bake.
May you scream, may you shout,
till your teeth all fall out,
except one, and that one, may it ache.

Bip, Hmmm not too shabby, i like your style...

i truely appreciate your style, keep the words flowin' from within, on all of life..Oh and speak about Karma,
yes i believe in the intensity of it,
yet....i believe death is too good for Saddam.

you Rock Bip, i'll surely stop by here to read from time to time, this is a great place of comfort to be.

I'm glad you liked my poem.

It seems that he's been hung.(early this Saturday morning) I can't add to what I wrote last night on that subject.

I checked out some of your writes and they are excellent. I look forward to reading more of them.

yes but....

yes he was an evil man, and like Terrie* said death was to good for him.He should have been left to rot.
and also at the same time when will tony blair and george bush be given the the same punishment for the innocents they have killed?wont happen will it?tit for tat.

As I see it ...

..it's a mistake to compare Tony Blair or President Bush with Saddam Hussain. re degree of evil, I place Saddam on the opposite end of the scale from the 2 you mention. The problem with the 2 is that they're politicians, and their game is to get the favor of the masses, many of whom don't have nearly their intelligence. I don't especially like politicians, but these 2 aren't nearly the worst, and even though they have made mistakes, I don't feel that either on them deserves execution.
Incidentally, if Saddam hadn't been executed he may never have rotted in jail. The fact that there is no such thing as life imprisonment without chance of parole (because of inevitable changes in administration, during a life sentence) is one argument for a death penalty. (in certain cases)
