Baby girl, I know it hurt you,
And tore your world apart.
For on the day I left this world,
I know I broke your heart.

I saw what my death did to you,
Your self inflicted strife;
And I knew time was running out,
On my baby girl’s life.

I went before God’s mighty throne,
And pleaded out my case.
My cry for help was so sincere,
That He bestowed his grace.

He told me I could have some time,
To help you find your way.
But when my goal was realized,
I must return that day.

So my baby, had a baby,
Who was so much like me.
He was born on daddy’s birthday,
It seemed like destiny.

And your life came into focus,
As God told me it would.
When you looked into that child’s eyes,
I knew you understood.

So precious is my baby girl,
That I transcended death.
To pluck you from that reckless road,
I took another breath.

But now, I must depart once more,
My task here is complete.
And I will wait on distant shores,
Until again, we meet.

Baby girl, I know it hurts you,

Forever in your heart.

Angels suffer too when they leave us behind..
Mark , you have no idea, how deeply these words of yours have touched my Heart, recently recaptured from the threshold of death, after a driver ran a red light,almost hittin' me head on... the impact sent my truck spinnin' i was fearin' for my life and desperately in tears, i couldn't control my truck , i remember my mothers words" your covered with the Lords Blood' then sooo perfectly my truck was parked, i cain remember durin' the commotion,of sirens , someone unknown/unseen ( i was unable to move ) whispered in my ear " where love exists , so do Miracles" yes, as a testimony before everyone here.. an Angel prayed me back..thank you for these fervent words..God Bless You!!
