My Man
13 January, 2007
Author: Tricia
He's the man I love the man I'll spend the rest of my life with.
Yet he's not the same man I married 36 months ago.
His temper is a little shorter, his patience wears thin.
But he does all he can to make things grand.
He's my man, my love.
Sacrificed a year with his oldest son and 20 some months,
from his wife.
Yet he complains little and has big plans for our future.
Thats my man, thinking of making life better for his family.
Work three jobs to help make ends meet.
Yet goes out on Saturday to meet and greet.
Doesn't spend much time here at home.
Maybe its me, maybe he feels alone.
Ohh I hope he knows he's my man.
I hope he knows we are here.
His two boys and I waiting here at home.
With hugs and kisses.
He's my man, my love,
my heart of gold.
Although not perfect he's my man. the love of my life, my best friend.
