Storm Of Sadness
18 January, 2007
Author: Rick Ryckman
Wandering through the corridors of my maze.
Enduring the constant anguish from pain.
The night vicariously encircles the darkness.
My storm of sadness keeps tossing and turning.
Shadows wearing there evil grins.
I am wearily rooted in this exhausting fight.
Where is the time that will clean my bleeding wounds?
The dark night claims my last look.

Meridian (71.253.222.228) -- Friday, January 19 2007, 04:18 am Hey Rick! Another exquisite poem! Hey Rick, are these recent or are these writings of the past? The reason I ask that is because, I wasn't sure if you've written anything in the present... This is just another question in general...if you don't mind...What motivates you to write such deep poems? They are all inspring. Captivating. Colorful. |
Rick Ryckman (71.97.10.64) -- Saturday, January 20 2007, 04:23 pm You opened up a whole can of worms with just two questions. Mostly what I have written on this site has been in the last two years. Although I have been writing off and on for 50 years. I don't think to much about what motivates me to write deep poems but rather I feel. It would take more space than there is here to explain these questions. Thank You for your kind feedback. Glad you enjoy enjoy what I have written. |
