I Don't Want To Be Another Fairytale
6 February, 2007
Author: T'Lonna Robbins
I understand
What its like to be Alice in Wonderland
Everything around you always changing
I know
What its like to be Dumbo
Being different from everyone you know
I imagine
What its like to be Aladdin
Always wishing for your dreams to happen
I dont want to have a life full of questions
I dont want to have to
Find my way around corners
I dont wnat to stay up waiting
For my one true love
I dont want o fall asleep
And dream of wht will never be
I dont want to make mistakes
And have them go away later
I dont want to be another fairytale
I can tell ya
What its like to be Cinderella
Waiting around for your cinderfella
Im being honest
About being like Pocahontas
I wonder about the right path and if Im on it
I can see
What its like to be Bambi
Being seperated by others cause of cruelty
I dont want to have a life full of questions
I dont want to have to
Find my way around corners
I dont wnat to stay up waiting
For my one true love
I dont want o fall asleep
And dream of wht will never be
I dont want to make mistakes
And have them go away later
I dont want to be another fairytale
I know what it means
To be like Thumbelina
So little in a world you can never be seen
I can say
Im like the Little Mermaid
Letting lose of my other half someday
I can take a look
At being in the Jungle Book
Some things become apart of you with the first step you took
I dont want to have a life full of questions
I dont want to have to
Find my way around corners
I dont wnat to stay up waiting
For my one true love
I dont want o fall asleep
And dream of wht will never be
I dont want to make mistakes
And have them go away later
I dont want to be another fairytale
