Why is it hard to love me
I know you say you do
But actions speak louder than words
Can't you show me too?
I want to fall asleep in your arms
Melt within your kiss
Look into your eyes
Show my life what it is I miss.
Why can't we be happy
Why can't this be real
Why do we have to write
Instead of show what it is we feel.
Why do you make promises
Knowing I soak in it all
For once cant you be the one
Who takes the ultimate fall.
This fantasy this feeling
To be in L-O-V-E
It may just be a word to you
But it's the world to me.
