Beauty By Heart
13 February, 2007
Author: SweetVenom
Nothing against anyone,
Just simple love and care,
Affinity toward humanity,
and tears for others pain.
Soft-spoken, humble and honest,
All in one cozy nest,
enveloped deep inside,
And that is what I call 'Beauty by Heart'.
Beauty is skin deep,
Shrinking with age,
Wrinkles all over turn into flakes,
And dries off in heat and cold.
Living beautiful is being true,
To oneself and to others,
With divinity and dignity,
That lives till the last breathe.
Hair falls, Ethics never fail,
Skin itches, Hearts never lie,
I Love you for what you are,
rather than how you look.
I love you for your heart,
Coz you are a 'beauty by Heart'.

Meridian (64.12.116.142) -- Thursday, February 15 2007, 05:21 am SV, In stanza 3 of Beauty By Heart, I couldn't help but imagine what I would look like at 60 or 70; that is, if I live to see it. Father Time has a lot of suprises waiting for us in the future concerning our bodies. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we? LOL. Superb poem! |
Sweetvenom (47.251.0.12) -- Thursday, February 15 2007, 11:44 am This was written for the heart but we can't just resisit the beauty the eyes see.Though we can never compare the beauty of the feel and vision, it is still the 'Beauty by Heart' that is long-lived and pleasant too.Felt people around me gave too much to their external factors so I felt I need to write on what I felt. Thanks for your thoughts.. :) |
