A Moment In Mind
2 March, 2007
Author: Miztrebor
Looking up to the sky
Blue, crisp, and clear
Branches swaying back and forth
Trembling with the frigid wind
A few clouds pass by
Looking as happy as
High flying fluffs of white can look
He doesn’t feel the cold
He doesn’t feel the pain
He just looks up and the sky
He just thinks in this peaceful time
Lying for minutes
Hours, maybe days
Seems like forever
And a moment just the same
The intoxicating feeling of falling
The drunken ranting in his head
A smile upon the face
Of a man in Love with….
He doesn’t know
He just looks up
He just stares
He doesn’t care
He doesn’t want to leave
Slowly he gets up
And stumbles to his feet
Rolling to the ground
Off of the bank of white snow
Still a smile upon this man’s face
Still a feeling of accomplishment
Though fell to his back he did
He feels not a pain
But a euphoric reason to continue on
