Passing Moments
2 March, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Fondly, sitting she thinks of him
A distant memory now of a different time
long ago when things were more complex
Her mind wandering through the passing moments
Moments that were their's alone
She smiles
Does he ever think of her
when he is alone at night sifting through the pages
of computer memories
Does a song he listens to remind him of her
A passing thought of a moment
A moment that was their's alone
Does he smile
Life intertwining the web of relationships
past and present that make up what is
Would life have been different without that time
Did the passions make a difference
Was it a stepping stone to reach today
A moment that is itself it's own
Someday in the memory of the memory
Will there be another smile
