Monster
5 March, 2007

Indirectly a monster,
Starring out with beauty,
And those eyes.
But still there is a monster,
That from which a heart
Can draw pain,
And be still infatuated with beauty.
A cross, a fork, in the road;
However, each leads there.
A vision obscured by two halves.
Is one worth the risk:
Take one with fear of the other,
Or are both too tough to handle?
Never may one know,
Never may one care.
But one question must be asked:
Can there be beauty
In a monster’s stare?
