Points Of View
8 March, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I get happy, I get sad
I have good days, I have bad
I sometimes say things I shouldn't say
There are times I want everything to just go away
I'm not perfect as you think I am
Sometimes I wish I looked like them
I write, I cry and wonder why
Other times I think, why even try
I work all day to make ends meet
I come home clean, then sleep and repeat
I still ask myself where I fit in
No matter how hard I try, I don't always win
Underneath I'm not who I seem
I sometimes suffer from low self-esteem
I know it's all just a point of view
But perhaps underneath I'm just like you
