You make me feel so dark
My hopes leave me so light
And I always seem to wonder
What I'm doing that isn't right
I keep hoping and praying
For each day we get to share
But there always seems to be
Part of you that isn't there
What am I doing wrong?
For you, I would change it all
If ever you needed my love
You could always give me a call
Sometimes it seems to me
That I'm not the one on your mind
I wish I could take your pain
But towards me, it seems you're blind
I could never stop loving you
Even if you might ever try
But you'll always be in my heart
Until the very day that I die
