Thief
9 March, 2007
Author: Scorpio
You stole it from under me
And I never even knew
Just how much I always
Thought of me and you
You took it from its place
And I can't get it back
But I'd rather live in misery
Than the feelings I would lack
You broke me into two
And left me here to drown
Don't you know without you
I can't help but feel so down?
You crushed my happiness
Without a peace of mind
I wish you would be honest
Instead of leaving me behind
Why won't you let me in?
When I opened up for you
Bastard broke my heart
And I don't know what to do
------- Author's Notes -------
No, this isn't broken relationships... Even if you're in one, you can still get your heart broken. |

Catyrose (128.123.85.206) -- Tuesday, March 27 2007, 08:10 am I can really relate to this poem. Have been in relationships where the other person is physically but not emotionally there. Alot more painful than being alone. A very hopeless feeling. Don't know if I'm way off base, but this was my interpretation. Left an impact on this reader. |
