Scorpio by Catyrose

As I walk along the sandy beach
The waves lap against the shore
The water tonight is crystal clear
I can see down, down, down
To the ocean’s floor

For I am but a water sign
I plunge to the depths from time to time

A chill overtakes me as the icy water
Caresses the soles of my feet
All at once I find myself adrift
The tide rises
It carries me along
Removing me once and for all
From a place I never belonged

After so many years of trying
Of wishing and hoping for a dream to be realized
I succumb to the truth
Daring to open these eyes
I glimpse reality for one painful moment in time

As the tide pulls me further and further from the shore
A sense of relief washes over my soul
I’ll let the tide of tears propel me along
Until I have been healed and once again made strong

For I am but a water sign
I plunge to the depths from time to time

Sad, but touching
I'm not much of an astrologer, but I'm a Scorpio, and I believe, a watersign. I sometimes find myself in the dumpster. If I look around, I tend to get out of their fairly soon.
I find this excellent poem to be very creative.

Good advice. You're right, I do get down, but I don't allow myself to stay there too long. Often times I write to get in touch with my feelings so I can move out of the blue mood I might be in.

A Scorpio
Scorpio's seem like nice people. As much as I want to believe in the zodiac signs, I can't pull myself to it. The personalities and characteristics aren't always true with some folk.

But scorpio's seem nice. Me? I'm a ram. I guess I'm mean. Only when provoked, do I show my horns. Laugh out loud.
