Where Butterflies Roam

Over the pastured hills
around the mighty oak,
Down in the valleys
where butterflies do roam.
Embracing a flower garden
gliding near a stream.
Down highways, and byways
the butterfly is seen.
Among the mountain tops
gathering on mossy grass.
Where butterflies do mingle
traveling slow, and fast.
Landing on a porch swing
resting on your hand.
Butterflies you will find
roving through our land.
