Bad Things Happen
31 March, 2007
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Life can be fine,
If we don't whine.
Things happen that aren't right,
Self-pity and whining adds to our blight.
Life would be boring with no strife,
But strife doesn't mean we have to have a bad life.
We have to fight.
With all our might.
TO ENJOY OUR GIFT OF LIFE!

Capricorn (82.46.181.105) -- Wednesday, April 4 2007, 08:40 pm Stress is part of life Barb.It would be boring without a certain amount of stress. it's when stress becomes over the top, that its no good. |
Bipedalguy (4.156.129.12) -- Thursday, April 5 2007, 04:34 am I agree with Cap. Stress can make one stronger, if the challenge can be met. In wood construction stressed wood is stiffer, and the same principle applies to forging steel. The trick in both cases is to use the right amount of stress. This is well expressed in your poem. |
