Glimmer Of Light
7 May, 2007
Author: Devilyangelic
My soul wept,
for the one who left.
Without a second glance,
just abandoned me at this dance.
Heart once whole,
you'll now find crumbling encased by a wall.
Foundations stronger than any cement,
steel bars I don't need when I have the strongest intent.
Eyes that laughed,
now see just how daft.
They both were for not seeing through,
the one who didn't mean I love you.
Arms that longed,
for only the one who wronged.
Me and my heart with lies,
slowly now every part of me dies.
Feel my soul,
hang up the call.
As my heart slows down its pace,
following suit is my miserable face.
But I know,
that it takes time to grow.
Though in my world it's pitch black tonight,
straining my eyes I see just a GLIMMER OF LIGHT!!!
