My Little Guy

My little guy,
today you nearly made me cry.
Where did that tiny boy go,
the one who is soon to be four?
He grew up,
now doesn't need a sippy cup.
I could hold you in just one hand,
where did you go I don't understand?
Did it happen overnight,
that you learnt wrong from right?
All that you are my mind it blows,
when did you stop wearing babygrows?
So independent knowing what you like,
surely you're way too small for a bike?
As if to answer me your head you shake,
though grown up a hug and kiss you still take.
I got a glimpse of my little guy,
my only nephew whose smile lifts me high.
Before my very eyes you're growing up fast,
I just pray that my memories will last.
For every day,
you blow me away.
A cuggle and a kiss will always be standing by,
whenever you need them MY LITTLE GUY!!!
